# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's ready faster than your coffee brews, yet feels like you've actually cooked something real.
  • The combination of creamy and savory hits different when you've actually mashed it together with your hands.
  • You'll forget you're eating something healthy because you're too busy enjoying how good it tastes.
02 -
  • The moment your avocado hits that bowl, work quickly, because the lemon juice will help preserve it but it's still better fresh than sitting around.
  • Ripe doesn't mean brown and mushy; aim for that perfect middle where your thumb leaves a gentle indent but the flesh is still bright green inside.
03 -
  • If your avocado isn't quite ripe enough yet, buy it a day early and let it sit on the counter in a paper bag to speed things up.
  • Always taste as you season, because once you've mashed it all together, you can't take the salt back out.
